A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL OF YOU!!

I want to thank each and every one of you for your kindness and wondeful performances yesterday, Prudy had tears in her eyes, she said noone has ever given her a party let alone a fundraiser before. I know it was a pain to find the place, at least you know where it is for future shows, which I will definitly love to have. Theres so much talent out there, and not enough places to show it. i got so teary when one of the Odalisque dancers, I wish I knew her name, expressed to me that she gave up her kidney, to save someones life. All I could say was WOW! When an amazing person to do that. I should have intoduced her to the Heavy breathers, table. thats what they call themselves. people on Oxygen. No, not the phone heavy breathers LOL. HE HE !! BIG THANKS AGAIN TO ZEHARA, and her baby, ERZULIE, PALOMA ,BADRIYA , NAJMAT ,ODALISQUE, BASEEMA, KARIM, ELA, SABRINA, DAUGHTERS OF EDEN, JEMILEH, AND PHOENIX. AND SAMANTHA who was a big help, we missed you . And the Cambridge Cultural Chinese Dancers.

TO ALL THE DANCERS FOR OASIS!

The program for the event, some mistakes in it. and its to late to change it. Hope nobody gets huffy about it, it couldn't be helped, I had a friend of Mine do the programs and She ran the wrong draft with a couple of names mispelled. This person is ill and wanted to feel useful she helped alot. and I didn't have the heart to tell her there were mistakes on the program. She will be at the event, so I can't change them. But at least all the names are there. noone is missing. So any perfectionist out there, sorry, Next time we'll do better.And thanks for understanding.!!

Oasis on the water, is at 56 Pond Lane, on the pond. not the hall on Mass Ave. there are 2 halls. mine is the one Right on the Pond.

Don/t get confused with this. gO DOWN POND LANE, UNDER A SMALL BRIDGE. AND ITS ON THE LEFT. PARK WHERE IT IS Ok to park. Look at signs so you won't get a ticket. lots of parking just look for it. thanks

Johara in Herald today!!

Nice pic of Johara, in today;s sunday Herald, In a nice leopard costume. At Revels in Boston, they called her a snake dancer. I couldn't go cause I went to Samarra's show last night. it was fun great dancers, Samira, ect. nice music. Had to meet friends there.

To all the dancers performing at the OASIS Show on the 29th, Can I have your music please. send it here or to me at DESERTROSE4022@yahoo.com. also, first hour 3-4 we will relax , get situated have a drink, then at 4pm the performances start and the food will be put out. 2bathrooms, and a dressing room in this place. plus, a downstairs for more room . please arrive on time. I will do the timing next week, if you have a preference of time tell me please. Tai Chi dancers will be performing 5-5:40pm so anytime around that. there is a closet where we can hide purses, valuables if you need it.

I am really siked!!

I just booked the Chinese fan and sword of Tai chi dancers, fan dancing with martial arts. so cool, it will be at 5pm between my lovely bellydancers. I am getting really nervous as this thing gets closer, its taken on a life of its own. That will be a 30minute show, This hall is super large and overlooking a beatiful pond with ducks.

I really excited I have some new performances doing there thing at my OASIS ON THE WATER event. They are Chinese Fan dancers, and martial Art masters do some shows that day. This will really be different. I can't wait. Collecting donations, for these event, food, gifts anything! would be most appreciated.
