I recently got involved with honey bees. A very interesting thing to do i must say, considering how fascinating bees are to me. I got to harvest the honey from four hives last tuesday...it was so neat....we got 9 gallons of honey...it was a sweet sticky mess.....it is so cool to be so closely connected with the things we eat and drink on a daily basis. I mean only moments before i ate the honey ...it was being worked by the bees....only a few bees died and no one got stung..

Well i raged against the "Big Tobacco" machine and won....this month is the one year anniversary of operation "commit to quit". I must say that it was a great challenge to stave off the desire to smoke...but as time went on i was only battling the habbit ....then i developed new habbits and smoking is only an afterthought....so im expecting a few pats on the ol back from some of my bud's....I also want to be an encouragement to all those who are attempting this daunting task of quitting..... read more

Sore and tired i try to keep my eyes open at work today. Some days are harder than others. The force of gravity on my eye lids seems too great to overcome at times...as encouragement to those that read my blog ro be inspired to run and stay active i did run 10k this morning and posted a pretty respectable time...i expect to hear that many of you at least attempted to do like wise.
