I really enjoy being outdoors. There seems always to be something there for me. Whether it is taking a walk, throwing the frisbee with my dog, or hiking through the redwoods, I love the way I feel when I'm outside.
Contrastly, I love movies. Coming to stay in Oklahoma for these past couple of months has been chilly and filled with indoor activity.
Knot tying has been an excellent endeavor that I have gotten into lately. I try to learn two knots a day and each day I am amazed both of their simplicity and the beautiful look of some knots that carry with them a very useful function.
I have taken a curiousness to kites and frisbees lately as well. I think it is the way the wind plays with them moving them here and there. Also that ever present childhood fancy overtakes me when I see something in flight. I am definitely looking forward to warmer weather so that I can get out there and play.
