That's it, folks! I've decided I'm pretty much done with Tribe for now... Although, I've really enjoyed Tribe over the last couple of years- it's time for me to move along... I can no longer justify spending time or contributing content to this online community... I don't believe in the direction Tribe is heading and I certainly won't be providing content for Tribe to continue it's direction...

I've made some great discoveries and learned about new and different things... I've shared some interesting dialogue, too..... And while I'm certain there is still some valuable content hiding somewhere on this site- I'm bored stiff! The discovery is gone... They gave me candy and now they've taken it away! My initial enthusiasm for Tribe was it's diversity, bizarreness, and it's ability to leave no subject untouched! That's all gone now....

Anybody that knows me, knows that I DO believe in shameless self promotion (it's the American way!) and therefore, I will not be unsubscribing... Just as Tribe has used me to perpetuate the growth of it's user roster, content pages, and ultimately it's advertising revenue- I plan on using Tribe by leaving my profile partially intact to generate traffic to my own website:

I have made some wonderful connections and new friends here on Tribe... I have also reconnected with old friends that I had lost touch with... I will still be using Tribe for the purpose of contacting my friends when traveling and you are still welcome to contact me through Tribe as those messages will be forwarded to me via email. Feel free to keep sending me friend requests, too... I am always up for making a new friend! My general tribing will be at a bare and almost non-existant minimum, though....

I want to thank all of my friends here on Tribe for the friendship, fun, and inspiration that they have provided me.... I'm really going to miss that about Tribe, but I hope you will all visit my personal website every now and again and drop me a note or leave a message on the board... YOU are the main reason I have enjoyed Tribe so much!

I must admit that I'm a little surprised that some of you haven't been screaming a little louder about all of the new changes here on Tribe. I know that some of you feel that the new changes aren't really affecting you because you don't belong to any of the mature tribes. Or maybe you just don't think it's really a big deal and you're willing to live with the changes....

I believe that anytime you let somebody stomp on anybody's freedom, you eventually lose some of your own. I don't believe in censorship- I think it's wrong. I think what Tribe is doing is wrong. I'm not willing to be a participating party in their no-goodness!!!
