Colonial Celts

We the children of marauders,
We are seeds of distant flowers,

Severed from our mother's womb,
Washing clean a father's tomb,

About Us

about me
Welcome to Celtica!

We are here for the Cultural preservation, Awareness & Rebirth of Celtic culture. We seek to understand our ancestry with depth and sincerity.

Too often our culture is hijacked by those who know little about us or just want to 'use' it with pretension for their own means. This however is a place for those who live and breathe with a Celtic heart

Let it be a meeting place for a world of Celtic brothers and sisters who dedicate their passion and time to keeping the sacred flame burning.

The Cauldron

We are a very creative culture, well known for skill in craftsmanship and talent for song. It's in our souls to sing and dance. We dance as we are rejoicing in life, and our tribal drums beat from our hearts.

Druids, Paganism and Christianity of all kinds should be embraced by our people, as they are all respectfully part of our identity and perception. The reality is, much of Celtic Christianity derives from the ancient faith.

We want to encourage dialogue between Christians and Pagans, also between Catholic and Protestants. We are all one people and culture, no matter who or what god/goddess we pray to.

We must also discard of the many misguided conceptions and the misrepresentation when it comes to Druidic Tradition.

We wholeheartedly embrace and support the quest for Independent motherlands and recognition. However, we do not support terrorism or hatred of any kind.

We firmly believe in the future of the world, and our part in shaping it as a strong and rich culture.

Whether we like it or not, war was and still is an important part of our cultural identity. It was on the battlefields of Ancient Europe that our people carved out much of their reputation. There was a time when a Celtic army was one of the most feared armies to have to face. There are many groups involved in training and practicing in the old ways of fighting.
