about me
I'm 25. I graduated from PSU in December 2004 with a degree in anthropology and a minor in international agriculture. I studied in Ukraine for a semester. I never thought about Ukraine-EVER-before the opportunity came to study there. Now, I never stop thinking about it and the wonderful people I spent time with there. I miss my family and just knew from when I was little even, that I wanted to see the rest of the world, eventually and that meant I would be away from my family. I always thought, God created all of it, the least we can do is check it out!! I've always had a sort of obsession with Australia and still have yet to visit. I used to spend hours looking up anything I could about Australia and (at the time-i was in high school i think) I swore I would have saved enough to go the Olympics in Australia!!(it of course didn't happen..). I think it was the heat that made me want the place so bad. I love feeling the sun on my skin and I would love to be able to get that all year round. I'm a procrastinator big time and I wonder if that really is something you can change about yourself.lol I'm ready for change and adventure hopefully coming soon(what am I waiting for anyway).

I went with a friend to her home town to visit her family...it was nice to be away and with family and friends...I miss my family very much and friends too. I don't have too many friends. I've always been that way. It takes me awhile before I'm real comfortable and I'm more comfortable in small groups where I know where I stand, I guess. I get shy and quiet-still at my age!!! *sigh* and one thing that has gotten worse...my face turns red real easily anymore. I thought it was bad before(like i...

My dream last night ..I remember pieces and then I look up words in the dreamer's dictionary(just to get a feel and b/c it feels good to think about it). I remember most clearly is my aunt and uncle.. mostly my uncle since he was planning to leave my aunt-he was no longer happy. he had luggage and was going to stay w/ a friend. like a movie, i could see my aunt w/my dad making jokes for a kid standing nearby and then switch over to my uncle pacing back and forth outside some building. i was ...

Today is March 8th..International Women's Day. It was two years ago I was in Ukraine and it was the first time I even thought about the day. What I experienced there was kind of like valentine's day just better since it is any woman...not just couples. The smallest gesture is appreciated and it could be anywhere from a few flowers, jewelry, anything really. And it's just to appreciate women. The one saying I heard was men can say to their wives, "Be quiet woman, you have March 8th"!!!! :) Any...
