raised in amsterdam, mom's from the carribean, dad lives in HI, and i'm an anthropologist. add it up and you've got a lot of travelling--especially to sunny locales! the list: ecuador (galapagos), venezuela, mexico, curacao, aruba, bonaire, grand cayman, jamaica, hawaii (kauai and honolulu), canada, holland, belgium, france (paris, nice, villefrance), spain (barcelona), monte carlo, italy (all over), greece (mykonos, santorini, and katakolon--site of ancient olympia), croatia (dubrovnyk), switzerland, israel. next on the itinerary: thailand and india.

now working on a phd (pilling it high and deep!) at stanford, studying human evolution, psychology and culture; don't ask me what i'll do with it, but it sure is interesting! truth is, i'm not too worried about it: my philosophy is that oportunities inexorably present themselves--i just gotta keep my eye on the ball, and let the universe worry about sorting itself out--it always does (i'm kind of a taoist that way).
