Well, it has been many months since i was near a computer. We are now commencing with building operations for the Middle of October. Close friends and family will be helping me build a 2 story lodge and central community area on the Organic Tropical Fruit Farm,
"Tierra De La madre" Anyone planning on visitng Costa Rica please contact me if you areinterested in contributing in anyway. I could surely use some help carrying quality power tools from the USA to Costa Rica. Will update more soon- Happy Travels,

Colombia, its Caribbean shores are beautiful, its histroy rich. I met many generous people and was constantly herassed to BUY BUY BUY! The local street touts are agressively annoying in the larger cities. They see you are a foreigner and will not leave you alone until you make forceful effort to dissuade them! Parque Tayrona was Beautiful, bordering Venezuela, Granit boulders and teal Blue lagoons. Colombia produces 80% of the World's Cocaine, has suffered a civil war for 60 years, and unspeakable violence, The military and police are corrupt, targeting people traveling alone, beware when using your debit card, I was arrested and escorted by 3 Paramilitry soilders, to various atm's in Cartagena until I had withdrawn up to 800USD, paying them for my release and a drug traffiking acusation that I had no degree of participation in. . . very scary! It was explained to me by a hotel owner that, "who can stop them, who can argue with a gun?" It is too bad the greed of Colombians will dissuade any future travels to thier complex country!

Cheers! I am Finally going to Colombia, I will be flying into Cartagena, which has an Old Fort to protect its shores from pillaging pirates! I am so excited, Colombia has so much history I hope I can learn much from the locals, and I am excited to see more beaches of the Caribbean!
