I find love, courage, patience... and grief.

Grief deepens you.
It allows you to explore the perimeters of your soul.
Grief is the only gateway to certain levels of consciousness, and it is a hard taskmaster. Through grief you can explore every aspect of your dark side - anger, pain, abandonment, terror, lonliness ; and these aspects of the sacred wound that in our daily lives we try to ignore.

Sounds simple?! But it hasn't been for me.
This week I finally processed through my first "belief/emotion" in EMDR. Now I know I am only responsible for my own emotions. It is downright bizarre how ingrained this belief was... how difficult it was to process and how miraculously it disappeard over the course of a few weeks.
