Travis is a rare find. How often do you meet a guy who can cook up a storm, listen intently and remember, offer quality advice and understanding, cares, supports, has style and creativity to spare, responsibly makes his own rules, gets silly, shows up, and stays to the very end? Just thinking of times I've spent with Travis makes me chuckle.
There is nobody I've introduced Travis to that hasn't expressed their sense of comfort around him. I'm inspired by his being so driven by poetry that he devotes serious personal time and resources to it. It has opened up a completely new world to me. Yeah I'd say I'm pretty fond of my friendship with Travis. March 3, 2005

i'm playing a set from 8:30 to 11PM tonight at the W hotel. the hotel is at the corner of 3rd and howard streets in san francisco. c'mon down. get an early start on the holiday weekend! should be a fun night! peace, traffic

Qool (111 minna) from 5 - 6PM on wednesday, November 7, and then i'll be playing later at the W hotel from 8:30 - 11 PM (at 3rd and howard streets). both sets are free and are within two block of each other. you could make a night of it! hope to see you out there. peace, traffic

Quick note to say we are having our 4 year anniversary party at RETOX tonight. it's the old sublounge space in china basin. (link to map below). I'm playing a quick opening set at 8 to 8:30 and then again at 10. so i wasn't planning on going to burningman this year. i didn't buy a ticket when the early entry tickets went on sale. up until recently i wasn't planning on going. but now... well, i think i need to go. but in order to make it happen i need to find one of those lower priced tickets. does anyone have an extra one i could buy or trade something for?
