the blue light is stunning against the natural finishes and textures.. are the bulbs blue, or the glass?

the white LED's give off a very cool, almost blue, white with the window glass.

yeah, they seem like guardians or something. I would stand mine in the entrance of my home to welcome and keep in check,- sort of maori style
