pregnancy is already uncomfortable

   Fri, March 2, 2007 - 12:44 PM
Okay, so now I'm in my second trimester. All clothes are uncomfortable except my favorite sweat pants....and those can only be worn to work (I work at a daycare right now). I suppose I just got on here to vent a little. My body used to be all cute and skinny and now I already feel like a whale. Whaaaa...poor me, eh? I know. I'll totally get over this feeling once I can feel my baby moving, maybe know what the sex is, and actually fit in maternity clothes like I should. This in between stage is killing me! Not only are my hormones going crazy, but not fitting into anything anymore is depressing. My husband keeps telling me that I'm pregnant and I need to stop saying I'm fat....which I already know, and it doesn't help for someone who doesn't know what it feels like telling you how to feel. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

They do say if men had to have the first baby, there'd never be a third! Well, I won't tell you how to feel, cause I never had kids either, but I'd say from the picture that belly looks pretty much like it should for the stage it's in.

Hey, at least working for a daycare you're getting lots of practice taking care of the little boogers! And all the ladies who bring their toddlers in have been through it recently enough to know what's what. Bet you'll get a lot of support from them! Wanna turn the tables on your husband? Tell him about "sympathetic labor pains." Yeah, I know, it only happens very rarely. But he doesn't have to know that.

I went through that inbetween stage not to long ago, what a pain in the butt, my clothes fit they just weren't comfortable I needed elastic bands, now i feel like my maternity clothes are too big on me, well the pants anyways, I lost my butt during this pregnancy werid! Have no fear you'll feel that baby move, then we'll both be saying why does it have to kick me in the ribs, really is that necessary?
