I am a middle aged women having my second childhood. I spent many years raising my chidren and guiding them. They were my priority. Now that they are off to college I have just been having a great time exploring all of my own interests. I was introduced to belly dance in 1999 in California. I was not able to pursue it seriously until 2005 when I moved here. I love the dance and get great enjoyment from it not only physically but internally as well. Yes the Goddess within is emerging slowly but surely. I have met all of these wonderful and beautiful women, a whole new community. I encourage anyone thinking of taking up the dance to do so, you are not getting any younger.
