I sit in the overcast gloom of the morning, with my heart as dark and gray as the clouds. Usually my soul drinks in the cool moisture of such a day, but there is a heavy sadness that lingers in my heart, and pulls me down into the depths of dispare....Not even the occasional rays of sunshine peaking through the clouds, nor the cheery song of the little peach throated bird sitting on the fence can lift the weight that pains my chest.
