about me
The older I get, the less sense the world makes, the more shades of gray there seem to be. Mostly, I seem to look and act straight (whatever that means), but I'm queer through and through. I look at a person's sex and sexuality as fluid things. Never say never. I'm a movie and book freak (books tend to win out by a thin margin). I am many things but apart of only one community in truth- humanity (its a default, having been born human and all). I tend to find most "communities" to be narrow minded and stagnant, too little thinking outside the box and inclusion going on to make me comfortable. i have strong opinions and passions, but I'm always willing to listen to the other side. Continuous inner seeking and personal growth is imperative to a well lived life. If you cannot question your beliefs, if you cannot listen to the other side of an argument, then you are admitting that you have no faith in your stance. True beliefs can be questioned, probed, and detailed without fear. This is why I have no religion, as I have never found a faith that does not show fear in the face of questions.

Hey all,
It's been widely reported that the church of LDS (Mormon church in Utah) donated lots of money, time and effort (including sermons across California) to the Prop 8 ballot measure. This violates their charitable organization status but they don't seem to care or think that anything will come of it. We can take some time and teach this organization the meaning of separation of church and state!
