Yes, I am going to play attention whore for a second. Why? 'Cause I am pumped after working on choreography ths weekend and tonight.

I just finished writing a wicked cool drum solo. I am very proud of this, it is fun, cute, powerful, blah, blah, blah. I also finished a new choreo for my level one class to perform

Maybe you are like me - I have always struggled with drum solos because I am a more flowy dancer and not a real sharp and shimmy dancer like the drum solo calls for. However, I developed some really cool combos for this drum solo that I am very proud of.

We will learn it in 5 weeks - no pressure to continue the classes after that unless you want to work on our next "specialty"
Then we have the opportunity to perform it at the school's recital in June and I have a few other places up my sleeve that I want to show this off.... are you game?

I know I posted about this class in another post earlier in the week but I am so excited about this now. I had some real break throughs this weekend and ended up with a fun choreogrpahy now that has put a smile on my face....Just ask my husband...he thinks I'm crazy.... ;)
