This has nothing to do with dancing.... but I just finished a book by Rosemary Mahoney. Down the Nile: Alone in a Fishermans Skiff

Interesting. She's an American, and while visiting Egypt she wanted to row down the Nile. I won't say much so I don't give too much of the book away. Even if you have absolutely no interest whatsoever in rowing, the book is still filled with her observations on everyday people in Egypt. That is the true value of this book - Ms. Mahoney has a keen sense of observation, and while I don't think I would ever find the idea of rowing alone on the Nile appealing, I did find her window onto the Egyptian people well worth reading.
