I guess it's similar in that they are both carnal cravings and could fall under the seven deadly sins of lust and gluttony :) Last week I made my first adventures out into the real world verses my explorations via www.craigslist.com, www.soj.org, www.myspace.com, and www.collarme.com. The online world was a good place to start. I read some cool stuff and before I found tribe. I even mad a few Dom friends who pointed me in the right direction. I have had the pleasure of bottoming a few scenes and am looking forward to toping. If you haven't guessed yet I'm a switch. My forays began about two months ago. Months earlier my girlfriend mention I could do a lot of growth in "the scene" - personal growth being one my areas of interest. As I talked to folks and to my surprise it turned out there were more kinksters in my community already - I realized there were aspects of my sexuality and expression of power that already had a form in the world. I didn't have to reinvent the wheel. I could just jump right in. So far I have attended a munch with the wippersnappers and a Reki Workshop at the Citadel. Oh and I did visit Bondage A Go Go. I have to say I have met some very nice people. But you can see the other folks as well.
