Christina, is , I think, the NICEST person in belly dancing. Seriously! I've never heard a negative word from her! She is constantly learning, sharing, and giving. She is an amazing person!

about me
I attended my first bellydance class in January of 2005 taught by Inanna Bint Ali. She is a very thorough, kind and patient teacher and I have learned miles from her.
I enjoyed dancing with Inanna and her Troupe "Banat el Shamal." In 2007, I decided to branch out and take classes from as many of our very talented local teachers as possible. I was fortunate to attend a series of classes from Masani Azura, Zaina Ali, and Jemira Ali. I also began attending regular weekly classes with Siham Ali and currently dance as part of Siham and Company. In addition to Siham's annual Mudd-Slide and October Worskhops, I was lucky enough to attend Layla's Fusion Fest Workshop with Ariellah and her Show Me Your Shimmy Workshop with John Compton. LOVE HIM !!! In April 2007, I was honored to be invited to join "The Flying Zills" local Dance Troupe. They are the most wonderful girls and I treasure each of them! We changed our name in October to "Hearts of the Nile". It was a wonderful year of learning for me!! Not to mention all the talented dancers I have met, the wonderful friendships I have made, and all the fun I am having!! I have been married for 28 years to the kindest man I have ever known. After working 30 years (15 as a bookkeeper and 15 in retail) I am semi-retired and work part time out of my home. Update for 2008: I am continuing weekly classes with Siham Ali. I was able to take a couple of Layla's Fusion Fest Classes - Jemira's Circle Veil and Reed's Sword - both excellent ! I also attended the Make-Up & Hair for Belly Dancers Class given by Bellatrix & Xira of Pavlov's Hips. Fabulous ! Looking forward to what lies ahead !
