My Cousin's band (blog entry) Okay, please check out my cousin Aaron's latest band (that's him in the middle, front). He's amazing (he has a master's degree in bass). I know he is going to make it to the big time soon. The bands he's in keep getting better and better. Here... read more

Great band... (blog entry) I re-discovered Blind Melon lately after hearing "Tones of Home" on the radio. You really feel the honesty Shannon Hoon puts into his lyrics. His life had a tragic ending, like so many great rock artists...

Redskins still rolling (blog entry) Well, I saw the two greatest Redskins games since the *last* Gibbs era while I was home. I felt an energy in the stands that I hadn't felt since we moved out of RFK stadium...

The skins were admittedly worse in the Eagles and Tampa games, but ... read more

Talk of the town (blog entry) The Redskins play the Giants today for what could be the biggest game of the last five years. A win puts the Skins in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 1999. A loss puts it out of their hands. Last weeks victory over Dallas... read more

McGuires Irish Pub of Destin
( local favorites » restaurants ) "Best atmosphere and prime rib" If you like prime rib, this is the place. Actually, everything on the menu is great. The bartenders are very friendly and will make you feel at home. I recommend the Red Ale and the Senate Bean Soup (well worth the 18 cents).

I'll never forget seeing them live at Woodstock '94. While they sounded great, Hoon was obviously out of it. It was one of his last performances before dying in 1995.

My favorite songs are "Tones of Home", ... read more

The skins were admittedly worse in the Eagles and Tampa games, but they continue to find a way to win. The defenses, coaches, and individual players are getting it done still. I'm hoping the offense will come back to life against Seattle next week.

I feel really happy for Lavaar Arrington, who has been such a t... read more

The Redskins play the Giants today for what could be the biggest game of the last five years. A win puts the Skins in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 1999. A loss puts it out of their hands. Last weeks victory over Dallas was emotionally and physically draining. Hopefully the players have what it takes to put together the same type of play today.

Come on Skins! Another stomping like last week would be the best Christmas present for everyone in this area. Realis... read more

Brian is one of the sweetest, kindest guys I know. He's funny, smart and has taken some of the most incredible photos I have ever seen! He's also missed greatly by Strider Einstein (my Irish Wolfhound)!

I miss him, too. He's always there to give a helping hand when needed.

Congrats on the house Brian! Thanks for joining this site, and check out the Tribes in your area, too!

I look forward to seeing more pics, here, as well.

Debbie
