Wee hee.... ok ....so when I swear I have given up on dance one door closes and another opens.......I am not sure why I even started teaching dance in the first place...oh I know...I have been asked to...its not really something that I have pursued so...after little success over the summer I found my self really down on the whole thing and giving up... Then this really nice gym GOA asked me to teach there!!!!I am excited to be able to use the gym it is awesome!!!! I haven't worked out in years..shh ugg... I am teaching Thursday mornings early at 8:00-9:00 and Saturdays 10:00-11:00....come shake it!!! Oh GOA is next the YMCA downtown......maybe ill see you.... Oh and Drum class is still Saturday at Noon and 1:00 Old City Hall.....I have had over 50-60 students this year!!!!Oh my GUSH....

Hafla every last Saturday!!! Next one October 25th!!!!;)

Yea!!! We had a good turn out for the Hafla...they want us to do it again every last saturday yea...so let me know if you want to be part of the next one...we have time to prepare more this time... The Drum circle was awesome....Coolest sounding one ever!!!!I love my Drummers!!!! I wish I had recording equipment...no fair...someday....

YEA!!! Oh my Gush.... I am honored to have Pangia to perform at My first Hafla!!!!! And wait, I am drumming for them...Yippy.......wee..but...darn that cool cat Carmine is In Turkey... Please come and have some fun Saturday the 27th at 7:00 North Star Brewery!!!! There will be food available and some Diversity in Dance.... So, last night was so interesting..... I stoped by a girlfriends house just to kill time, and she was on her way out to see Canned Heat...(a band from the 60's and 70's) They sing that cool song...."Going to to the country where the water tastes like wine...so I can stay drunk all the time"........................... Anyway.........She insisted that I go...of course I wanted to however I didn't have the funds, so she took me for my Bday...weeeeee well, while I was there I ran into a few of my drum and dance students, and they have it in their minds that they are going to Sponsor me to take dance more lessons. Wow...... I am so blown away at this offer..... Wow... I feel very lucky, and excited. wow... Yet I still can't believe it... I have fans that love me!!!!!! I just want to say thanks to all the people who have inspired me and support me...Wow....

sooooo, Zara asked me if I wanted to start teaching dance at her studio...weee!! I am excited and extreemly intimidated..... Why...well because she has like 30 years experience, and I have umm 3...hmmmmmm... I am still learning and have lots to learn,but I am going to give it a try, what the heck, if it doesn't work out it just wasn't ment to be!!!! I am excited to have been offered the opportunity!!I I have studied with 2 great award winning teachers! Among others....... I hope to see some of you there, come check it out sometime and bring a friend ;) Also drum class Friday's 7:00 and Saturdays 12 Noon extra durms available P.S* my drum students and I may be performing on the 29th :) oh my oh my..........we'll see.......

Yea I am excited that my first special order of hand made tassels belts performed at Tribal Fest with the "Hill Bellys" ( a troupe from my home town)!!! I really wanted to go but....well I couldnt' waaaa... oh well...maybe next year.... But these were fun to make!

So, Saturday I had some new students in my class and they had such a blast it was so amazing to see people get excited. These ladies said that they got a "contact high" from my energy, and what I was teaching and it really made my day to inspire someone. Oh my Gush!!!!! Wow it was cool!! Yea!!

Hmmmm I say.... I had an itch to play my violin today...but I had a very rude suprise...seeeee OMFG its broken and um um ..... What the Fuck!!! Oooops did i say a bad word...SHIT......ugggg {heavy sigh} so I have no idea what happened here.... Well it has been a few months since I played it... And it was perfectly fine when I put it away...now it is a mess and its gonna take stupid money to get it up again...rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ohh and my bow ohhh geeeezzze :( Yes I am pouting....Lower lip stuck out and everything............

ok update..... today is the day annnnnd.... well I have compromised with my job down to the minute.... The show starts at 6:00 (musicians never start on time shhh) ok so...... and right at 6:45 I get to call my work and see if they need me at 7:00...hmmm rocks star for 5 minutes and then back to the waitress world just like that... laaaaa...ARRRGGG please no... well the anticipation is killing me arrrr..well here we go!!! well at least I get to do it....fun I just have to tell my self to relax....work stresses me out...I reallydon't want to go serve rude fat ass red neck people 2 pound steaks and 3 loves a bread and 2 bowls of salad and chocolate cake and and beer after beer....and what ever else you can fit in before you explode...ummm yeah......eyes rolling at the thought of the food people can consume, anyhow oohh I think I love my job I love my job........... heeeh

So...... I have been invited to do a performance playing my Drum to a Cool...Led Zeppelin Medley we have been practicing and it so rocks oh and a little solo eeek (with my guitar teacher Marvin Allen from 16 years ago) at this special concert promoting his students.. This is a MAJOR opportunity for me to get out there and do what I want with music, plus... of course promote my drumming class ect.... Also, Marvin is a very well known Musican here in town... him and his wife play great music, and are very tallented... . I would be so honored!!! But........yea there is alway a BUT here is what SUCKS.......I have to work...hmmm of course I do.... because that is the way it goes with me... seriously...anytime I ever get the opportunity something holds me back somehow, someway ok ( I want to cry but I won't)....so I have tried and begged every one to work for me but so far no luck...... So should I call in Sick?? I never have, and besides they already know that I want the day off.. I well, I uhhhhh don't know....... POUTING>>>>>>>>>>> Wishing that I could give up waiting tables to do what I want...hahahaha yea right...... I like my job... I bring people food and they leave me money...its a wierd thing.... but hey I get to work part time and make full time money and Yea...so yea, probably be a waitress for the rest of my frikkin life UGGGGG There will be more opportunites I know... Iknow... how many times to I get to say that..???

The Bennifits of working in the Food Business Last night when I got off work I got in my car and cranked up some tunes and headed home. Well,as excited as I was to be off work I didn't realize that I was speeding.... I got pulled over....welll, as I start kicking myself because I just got done with a speeding ticket about 8 months ago... thinking... shit.... that just figures.... my luck. So, the officer proceeds to ask for the usuall, of course I don't have my Drivers Licence with me... And he asks why I was in such a hurry...Well I told him "That I just got off work and I didn't know the speed limit was 35 ( I was doing 50) So he goes back to his car does his thing and comes back, and said...."Well your driving record is clean, do you think you deserve a ticket??" What is a girl to do but batt her eyelashes and say..." Well I suppose I did break the law sir, but I really don't want a ticket..." Soooo. after looking at my attire (waitress clothes), he says...... " We have a saying in our profession......"Never give a ticket to someone who serves your food, or makes your coffee... and I do eat at *********, so Drive safe".... : ) And he let me go with out a ticket...... I am still a little dumbfounded by my luck....and in a way it doesn't seem fair..... but I guess I am cool with it.... it saved me a ticket.....But but ???????????? Just a cool benifit to my new job.....always have a work uniform with you in case you get pulled over....Hahahahahahahahaha Do you think if I was a guy he would have let me off for the same reason???

The Tribute to Learning is Teaching

ahhhh....well the stress (and fun of course) of Rakkasah is over yea!! Nothing like learning two songs in 3 weeks!! woo....(wiping sweat from my head) giggles... I drove 1,600 miles.... nothing under 90 miles an hour of course...:) Hair Flying in the wind, Rocking out the whole way....I got this new CD..... Djinn.... from that cool Carmine ;) I listened to it probably 10 times or more... dreaming up dances all the way .....everyone needs one I am telling ya... Lots of fun fun fun.... I release much of my built up energy when I drive...Its great.... ahhhh...the many Ideas that come to my head.... so with the inspiration of a few friends I am destined to start giving music lessons.... I mean really.... there is no reason why I can't...I have a freaking Degree already... it was my pure passion 5 years ago...what happend.... come on wipe the cobwebs off and get your head strait...yep (i like to yell at me)...so yea I am doing it...watch out here I come...hehe... *There was this really cool Leanardo Da Vanci exibit in L.A. real models of his inventions and some art replicas...yea I was enthralled...

Ohh boy....Here I am at the weeee hours of the night......My eyes go cross-eyed ...my days have been consumed by sparkely sequins, beads, paylets, needles and thread, as I prepare for Rakkasah. woo hoo!!!! This is my first time to the world famous Bellydance festival. Strange thing is, that I am peforming on the Big stage. and yet I am just a wee little amature dancer....hmmmm... well Here I go!! Ready 1...2...3... eeeeeeek.... giggles I am very honored to have the opportunity to involved in the fun!! Special thanks to Pangia, and Carmine ;), the wonderful musicians who are making this possible... YEA Ok have downed a whole box of cookies while I sit here and sew, sew, sew... dang girl scouts....theye're evil, cute little cookie pushers.....hehehe just kidding....I can never say NO,yummy!!!! coconut and chocolate Samoas!!!MMM MMM yea you know the ones I am sure :0 ohhh

My Big Feild Trip Some of The Fun!!

Ok, My last entry was weak!! My flight ended up being a fun experience!!.. When I arrived in NYC the plane sliced through these big fluffy clouds, at sunrise, and down over the ocean.. ( if ony you could feal the butterflies in my tummy, the perma grin, and the sparkles in my eyes) When I left it was Night, so i got to see the city lights... my head was glued to the window( like kid at a candy store) and my neck stiff from watching th fun city dissapear...Hehe...I enjoyed new foods including Turkish, Conveor belt Sushi,:) Crepps, Fine Itallian Desterts,ooooo:) and more. I visited the Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, the "MET", Time Square, we even got crazy at Rocky Horror Picture Show! I got to see Carmine and one of his bands peform with dancers!! Great times :)
