I'm gradually writing a novel. I love cultural anthropology, gender redefinition, and spiritual growth. I'm easy going and relaxed most of the time, love to cook, eat out, watch movies, read, and hang out at the local (or not so local) pub.
I'm passionate about what's important to me, while never forgetting that something else might be just as important to you. I'll respect you and what you believe, but that won't keep me from challenging you to back things up and live up to your own convictions.
I'm originally from the east coast, and am really looking forward to moving back as soon as finances and life allows. In the meantime I've found a lot of cool people and cool places that don't fit into the superficial scene that is southern California in general. I'm great at showing you new places, exposing you to new people, and generally just bringing people together who wouldn't necessarily meet otherwise. I'm a loyal friend if you don't hurt me or the people around me.
I'm bouncing around the idea of starting a publishing company, but haven't quite figured out how to get it off the ground yet. I love to write, and read, and enjoy the arts whenever I get the chance. I like hikes in the woods (not walks on the beach), trips to the pub with friends, jazz, theater, you name it. I rarely take myself seriously.
I also make a mean salmon with roasted Roma tomato sauce.
When it comes to dating, I want to spend time with someone who is confident in herself and passionate about something. Someone who can have an argument with me, and legitimately challenge my ideas, but still respect me even if we never agree.
