Third generation of my family (both sides) born, raised and educated in Bloomington, Indiana, the Secret Navel of the Western World. Moved to Seattle, WA in 1986, hopped over to New York City in 1995, back to Seattle in '97, decided to scale back & slow down in 2007 so returned to Bloomington to focus on writing and looking after Mom. I'm a writer, became a novelist after 15 years as a screenwriter & no sales or options but much admiration for the quality of my writing. Won 2nd place in a national literary contest in 2006 (see www.aabbfoundation.org/pastwinners.htm). Seeking publication. Visited the 2001 Maha Kumbh Mela in Allahabad, India, along with 70-million or so others.Co-producer with Nadeem Uddin on a cinema-verite documentary about the event. "Kumbh Mela: Songs of the River" has played several international film festivals and on satellite TV.

HHDL in Seattle, Dave Matthews Crushes (in Tibetan Buddhism) My BFF in Seattle got involved with Seeds of Compassion, the presenting organization, via the all-ages community choir that was created to sing for His Holiness ... and she says it has ballooned to 2000 members!!
