Ask me and I'll tell you more than you expect.

Someone here attacked my character, calling me a coward. I'll let you be the judge.
Some things I've done:
Come alarmingly close to fall to my death on a 14er in Colorado. I still love to go.
Forced a man with an automatic rifle to stand down, using only an empty pistol and my wits. No, I do not carry today.
Broke a rib during my service in the United States Marine Corps infantry without letting it slow me down. Just a small thing.
Been arrested three times for nonviolent acts of civil disobedience.
Shattered my arm in a hang gliding accident. I still love to fly.
Walked out of the best job I ever had, in resignation over my CEO's treatment of my people. It worked.
Taught my now-8-year-old daughter how to play safely near the 50' cliff on my land, ensured she understood WHY the rules were what they were, and allow her to play there.
Been rear-ended by a truck at over 40MPH while making a legal and signaled left turn. The impact shortened my car by two feet. I still love to drive. It relaxes me.

If that sounds to you like someone who lives in fear, rather than someone who actively (if imperfectly) manages risk, then I suggest you check yourself into an insane asylum.

Anything worth doing is worth doing naked. In fact, being naked makes many things more worth doing.
