Simple things (blog entry) As usual, life's situations are not static. Things change, fact of life.

I am relocated for a while to the deep south east, Florida. What to do to make the best of this change? I am a water person, so the beaches are great. I am just a few ... read more

Wraith (blog entry) She comes like a spirit
appearing from a void.
Ethereal, ghostlike, flitting
bolstering passion
She leads down the path

When will she come again?

What we do, who we are (blog entry) Trading notes,
Enjoying thoughts of a nature.
Trading thoughts,
Enjoying a beginning knowledge.
Trading pixels,
Revealing inner selves,
Knowing mutual visions.

Do we really know

Do we really feel selves,
see visions?

On the occasion of a rare random thought

As usual, life's situations are not static. Things change, fact of life.

I am relocated for a while to the deep south east, Florida. What to do to make the best of this change? I am a water person, so the beaches are great. I am just a few miles from 2 wonderful beaches. One requires a boat or ferry ride, the other is there for long walks on lonely sand, refreshing dips in salt water somewhat cooler than the air. On a sun-blasted week day afternoon, I find the white sand virtually d... read more

collapsing spent and emptied.

Our tale is told,
sent for approval,
we wait, listening.

It is good,
we are cleansed and emptied,

It is difficult, to say the least, to exist in a dichotomy. But, we all do. Myself; trained as a scientist in the world of computers, I yearn to truly be an artist. I find my study of bits and bytes to continually take a back seat to the visual and graphic arts. Why is our world split in that way?

But perhaps this split is good. Currently immersed in 2 software projects, I still manage to find images in nature and in words that inspire me. I can, most times, strike a balance.

I am ... read more

Do we really feel selves,

Do we really reveal and revel
in anonymity to anonymity?

We pretend we do.
We think there is an inkling?

We are who we are,
in secret, on line, in life.
