Re: 6 Mil. Jews, 19 Mil. American Indians. Which is worse? (in ! * POLITICS * !) >Surely, but if they were converted outside of Eretz Israel then that would heavily undermine any historic claim they have to land in what is currently defined as Palestine or Israel.<

Re: 6 Mil. Jews, 19 Mil. American Indians. Which is worse? (in ! * POLITICS * !) >Their ancestors converted to Judaism,<

Conversion is perfectly valid, and this is under the false assumption you're not talking out of your ass. In fact, every Muslim land was converted by the sword to begin with, if you take the time to open ... read more

5. Tag 5 other people to do the same.

A rather wise friend recently wrote about prayer from his own perspective, so now I am inspired to write about it from mine. As many of you know, Buddhists tend not to believe in Gods the way other religions do, and praying without Gods is kinda tricky. I found from a young age, however, that it is highly effective if you do it right. Have you ever wished upon a star, only to have it come true in some form~? Same principle.

The Vajrayana seem to have a bit of a monopoly on prayer in Bud... read more

I've been thinking a lot about what a God is, and what an Eternal Buddha is. I'm not the best religious scholar in the world, nor even the most pious practitioner; but I have a mind, and some meditative experience, so I do hope my views are somehow beneficial. I will start, if you don't mind, with the thought of God.

There are some who believe, just because they find the idea somehow comforting, in a Universal Creator. Said "Creator" is all Eternal, and still manages maintains but one s... read more
