Hey! Who wants to go on a cruise? A land cruise that is!
Oh, you know us so well. Bounding Main couldnt possibly, ever, go on an actual cruise so were going on a land cruise! And where to? Nowhere water-based, I can tell you that.
How about we do what we do best and get lost? Not Lost at Sea, but rather lost in a corn maze. Nothing says nautical adventure like climbing aboard a yellow school bus and heading out to a farm!
Join the crew as we sail along the roadways (instead of the waterways) and travel all the way up to Spring Grove, Illinois, to the Richardsons Farm! Once there, well get lost in a corn maze by the light of the moon. Oh, did we not mention that? Were going to navigate the maze in the dark! Ha ha! Hows that for high adventure? After we find our way out (IF we find our way out) well gather round ye old campfire and sing songs and make smores. (Mmmm, smores.) None of that salty, rock-hard, tall-ship sailin food for us. After a hard night navigating, well want soft marshmallow-y, chocolate-y type food cuz thats the kind of sailors we are.
Date: October 20, 2007
Time: Bus leaves the JC Penny parking lot at Gurnee Mills at 6:00 PM SHARP! Bus returns to the JC Penny parking lot at Gurnee Mills at 10:00 PM.
What to bring: Flashlight, blanket or folding chair for lounging around the campfire.
Cost: Tickets for the fundraiser are $45 and include transportation to/from the maze, entry into the maze, the campfire, snacks, and entertainment by Bounding Main!
HOW TO GET TICKETS: Send an email to gina@boundingmain.com RIGHT NOW to reserve your tickets for the fundraiser. Tickets are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis. Gina will then send you instructions for how to pay.

I am married to an excellent partner who is wonderful and beautiful and faithful and trusting who is also in the performing arts and "gets" the lifestyle we lead (being on the road from time-to-time, devoting all of my spare time to "the band"). We have a sweet, retired racing greyhound and two adopted kitties, all of whom we love, love, love.
I am a vocalist with a sea shanty music group called Bounding Main ( www.boundingmain.com). We perform at tall ship festivals, maritime museums, nautical events, pirate events, renaissance faires and corporate events throughout the Midwest. I am a marketing manager by trade ("day-job") and have applied my skills to the promotion of my group.
I also freelance my marketing skills. One website I built recently landed the company a $240,000.00 contract! I hope to be able to start my own marketing company in the not-so-distant future; I miss being in business for myself.

Dean is a true friend. I believe that he and I bonded almost the instant we met, and I have greatly valued his friendship ever since that day. Dean is always willing to lend a hand, always honest, someone you can confide in, and a joy to hang out with. On top of all this, he also has a fabulous wife who I just adore!

Dean is seriously the coolest ever! Not only is he smart and funny but he's a true and perfect gentleman. I'm so lucky that Emilie introduced us and to have the honor to call him a friend! I only wish I had met him sooner! Hazzah!
