It all started with a simple hiss;
Baby Dougie stood on your head,
Just to protect you from
The unfamiliar touch of a human kiss;
So tainted.
And another hiss;
I thought it would never end,
Now you wrap yourself,
So comfortably around my neck;
I feel like you’re my only friend,
Sometimes
When I think of you,
I’ll imagine,
A reminiscent slide-show,
The way your little pink paws
Brushed my cheek so softly;
The way you slept on my butt
When I laid on my stomach;
Your tiny, cold nose,
And prickly, rigid tongue
In my eyes, when
you’d wake me in the morning;
Your absence
Forces me to feel numb;
This cannot be real;
My cheeks are stained with
Such sorrow-filled tears...
And you are not there to lick them away.

That was such a sweet poem. I understand exactly what you're going through. But look on the bright side, the spiritual energy that resided within their physical bodies is eternal, and has merged back with the infinite ocean that is our home.
And we will all be back there some day, just hang in there. Brightest Blessings. |

That's what we call it,(as opposed to 'Heaven', which I guess is a completely different thing altogether).
Your cats have plenty of hamsters and rattie critters to chase there now, but they better be careful because in Lucidia, all the animals can talk,(and carry weaponry). =) ;) =) Love ya sis, so sorry about your sad physical loss but just remember that Lucidia is in your Heart. -D <(Fallen Mushroom) |

I'm glad you decided to post this! They are in Lucidia with all of our furry creatures. They will be with you all the time, when you sense they are near, KNOW they are there.
