I had been using Caerann as my online alias for years but decided it's too confusing to explain that it is indeed just an alias and not actually a dance persona. I therefore, reintroduce myself to you as Ann, my name given at birth. =O)

It has come to my attention the link posted on my prior blog is not functional. Here is a revised link including the list of products containing Triclosan:

This stuff is harmful to the immune system, thyroid function and it CAN NOT be removed from our water system at treatment plants. It's bad, bad, bad, bad! In case you hadn't already gotten that idea... =O)

I posted the information below on the Makeup and Hair for Dancers Tribe but also want to add that if you use hand sanitizers,the alcohol content has to be over 60% percent or I read that the product will NOT destroy all the nasties frolicking upon thy paws.

I was alerted to the dangers of Triclosan to the immune system in the Sunday Chicago Tribune newspaper. Upon further investigation I also found out that water treatment facilities can NOT remove this chemical from our water so it's ha... read more
