Anti-bacterial products harmful to body and environment
It has come to my attention the link posted on my prior blog is not functional. Here is a revised link including the list of products containing Triclosan:

This stuff is harmful to the immune system, thyroid function and it CAN NOT be removed from our water system at treatment plants. It's bad, bad, bad, bad! In case you hadn't already gotten that idea... =O)

Antimicrobials aka Antibacterial products are harmful to the body and the environment!
I posted the information below on the Makeup and Hair for Dancers Tribe but also want to add that if you use hand sanitizers,the alcohol content has to be over 60% percent or I read that the product will NOT destroy all the nasties frolicking upon thy paws.

I was alerted to the dangers of Triclosan to the immune system in the Sunday Chicago Tribune newspaper. Upon further investigation I also found out that water treatment facilities can NOT remove this chemical from our water so it's ha... read more

Thanks to all you Tribers for your good wishes! =O) I think things went well and I definitely felt more confident than my first time out in September. I danced the same song, Lela Lela by R.E.G. Project and my honey said he saw big improvement in the past couple of months and that I seemed more relaxed on stage as well. My teacher, Sonya ,was there and I didn't think she would be due to other commitments but she caught at least the last minute or two of my dance and was very positive and s... read more
