about me
I sell books from Asia, mainly from China but I also have a few Japanese and Korean related art books. Life is short and the world so wide. I intend to visit as many places in my life time, and then some more in the next. In my previous life I was a traveler too. I like tattoos, camping, hiking, sleeping, reading, searching.
I drive alot, that is my main form of transportation. go everywhere and like to enjoy the clear blue skies of mother nature. Intersting conversations of random things really kick ass, especially those that really don't lead to any certain ending. I am an honest person who takes his time in getting to know people. I've suffered, and will suffer, but i dont make this my crutch and I dont unleash it on others. I hate complainers and mean people. People who can't take advice from anybody should just go and live in a cave and never come out. People who accept advice and want to learn from this life are welcomed to my house any time. I don't kiss ass, never have and never will. I am me and that is all I can say about that.

Looking at art post-Burning Man (blog entry) This year at Burning Man I had a great time. One of the amazing moments was after I got to camp around a.m. and decided to head out to the Tower of Babylon to see the sun rise. This year at Burning Man I had a great time. One of the amazing moments was after I got to camp around a.m. and decided to head out to the Tower of Babylon to see the sun rise. I got my stuff ready and rode as fast as I could to the tower, and to my surprise it was not as packed with people as expected. I climbed all the way to the top and was amazed at the great view of the playa and the camps making a crescent. I looked over to the east and could only make out the mountains. The sun was a... read more

So, yesterday I went to the tattoo studio to get an appointment with the guy that does my work. Well....turns out I got my work done at that time. The work on my side is finaly done. Will put pics up after it heals. All that I needed was for the eyes, tounge, teeth and claws of the cat to be colored in. It was painful, but worth it.

good day,

Armando

Well....I guess I am back to "normal," if paying rent and every monthly bill is a sign a prerequisite for normalcy. Any how....man...I had a blast over there....the people that met over there and just talked with was so amazing. In many ways going to BRC has changed my life. I can understand why people devote so much of their time to stuff related to it.
I can recall talking to a... read more

I had a great time at BRC. I can say that it was just as good as last year. My experience this time around was so different than last year, and sooo damn good. Any how, after the event finished I decided to rest a little and wait for the main wave of traffic to ebb a bit. I left BRC at 9:30 am on monday and found myself quite pleased with the short line. This short wait, however, was one of the few times where things went by fast. From Reno to Sacramento the story changes from a lovely t... read more

So, these past few days I have been in my home creating a watercolor painting. Thus I have been entertaining myself with some cool music. Ever since I returned from Las Vegas, I was there about 4 days driving around selling books, I've been listening to Miles Davis, Betty Davis and the Beatles. Anyhow....the point I am trying to get to is this.
The Beatle's Rubber Soul album is good. I mean really good. It inspired Haruki Murakami's novel, Norwegian Wood. I think Murakami captures a bit... read more
