I am thinking of a list of movies one should see to understand what is happening in our society these days and where we are headed if we do not challenge the evangelical, right-wing, conservative, corporate domination of our society.

My music taste is mostly not on the radio... or at least the mainstream radio.... mostly. Or maybe a better way I could say it is that I don't listen to the radio unless I am listening to NPR. Oh, about music.... lets see, ambient is one of my favs... ie: Apex Twins , then comes psychobilly/rockabilly.. ie: Gun Club.... then postpunk/gothic... ie: Joy Division. I am finding that learning to play an instrument is changing my musical tastes. So these days I am more interested in Blues... From the Craddle by Eric Clapton being a good example. Also I like songs by various artists: like U2's Lemon or Do you feel love... I like the bass lines on both... simple but interesting. Jazz is also more appealing these days cuz the bass players create interesting grooves.
