Hi, i was wondering if anyone has had much experience tincturing mucilage herbs like burdock. Normally i strain off the tincture removing the cloudy impurities that collect at the bottom once they have a chance to settle....but with herbs like burdock i dont know if i am straining off the valuable mucilage part of the herb when i do this because it is seems like a huge part of the end product is this cloudy looking stuff that sinks to the bottom. Does anyone have any advice.
