Food grade shellac / Lac resin, for coating vegetables for the supermarket, slowing oxidation and making them shiny...not water soluble....collected from insects.

Carmine red / cinchona extract.....juice collected from the crushed larvae of insects...added to many foods, candies and juices

Methylene Chloride....usually found in paint removers...makes old dried paint shrivel up to be scraped off...is also an ingredient on some designer perfumes, including Ralph Lauren 'Poison' (aptly named)

Formaldehyde....is added to cigarettes along with thousands of other chemicals...and the government makes sure that the companies don't have to reveal what they are using.

Sodium Benzoate....found in most kinds of soda in the US....breaks down into Benzene in the presence of an acid (like vitamin C / ascorbic acid...or phosphoric acid...which is also a key ingredient in sodas.)
