FiftyCrows - New Gallery

   Sat, June 3, 2006 - 10:54 PM
take a look at this website. This is our organization. We just re-opened at our new gallery in San Francisco.
FiftyCrows Gallery
49 Geary Street
Suite 225
San Francisco, CA 94108

We have an exhibition up now: What Ever Happened to Never Again
The exhibition explores the past ten years of strife in the Sudan. Featuring the works of highly-respected Magnum photographer Eli Reed, four-time Picture-of-the-Year winner Colin Finlay, and San Francisco-based documentary filmmaker and photographer Mark Brecke, the three essays focus on the horror of famine and genocide to the beauty and enduring spirit of the Sudanese people.
See the website for ACTION you can take.

Here's what a friend had to say about it:
"...the show captivated my attention and I am still here thinking about it.
The impact that you will have on the way people look at the world will
resonate and hopefully these contrasts will remind us that the Lost boys
of Sudan or the young starving faces of the children of the Sudan are the
evidence that we as healthy bright citizens of the world are not doing
enough. You stand tall among the mediocrity of what we call art.
Fifty Crows is setting the standard for calling out and saying something
so pertinent to our very existence. . . that we must participate! We must!"
