Anne is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life. I'm so glad she invited me to study with her that sunny day over two years ago because she has had an amazing impact on my life. She's smart, beautiful, artistic, a culinary GODDESS, and passionate. She cares deeply about her friends and is always extremely thoughtful and loving. I'm a school and research fanatic, I love learning and being taught new things. I currently spend most my time in a molecular biology lab researching estrogen receptors and the evolution of steroid receptors. I am committed to my research because I am PASSIONATE about FOOD and concerned about the chemicals being released through agricultural cultivation (such as pesticides, herbicides) and industrial waste, all of which harm our estrogen receptors and can cause infertility and cancer. My research helps contribute to understanding why these chemicals are so detrimental to our bodies and our ecosystems. Aside from loving science I take every opportunity I have to submerge myself in music and enjoy life and all it has to offer.
