Written From the War Prayer Shoot

I'm on a shoot for a short film by the above title. It's apparently going to be submitted to the Oscars. Jeremy Sisto (who you may know from Six Feet Under, and an LJ post I made a month ago about a little crush I have) is the star. I've been here since 8am, after not getting home from the student film I'm costarring in until 4am. I'm running on 3 hours of sleep, my eyes are burning, and I volunteered to stay til 9pm... and I couldn't be happier.

I'm dressed for church. I've been saying things like 'amen' and 'praise Jesus' for the past couple hours... But...

Pardon me while I gush a moment: I just spent about 15 minutes chatting with Mr. Sisto. He's a sweetheart, and he's got those kind of chocolaty brown eyes that you just melt into because they're filled with sincerity and sweetness. It was cute, he was standing outside eating something right went we went to break and I was walking to my car. I dilly-dallied a moment before I said fuck it, and strolled over to meet him. He was alone after all. I mustered up my charm, and said "I'm going to apologize in advance for interrupting your meal, but I had to seize the opportunity to say hello." We talked a while, and as we said our goodbyes, he replied, "Well, thank you very much for coming over and saying hello. See you in a few." Oddly enough I realized as I was going to find food that he reminds me of George, Mr. BaGG Promoter. Funny that.

After a momentary thought at 7:15am that maybe it would be better to sleep in, I'm glad I decided to show up today. I'll sleep well tonight.

As meeting crushes goes, I'd say that went pretty well.
