I'm a East Coast/West Coast baby. Grew up in Pasadena and DC. I perform poetry around DC (actually wherevah people will listen) I hosted Women In The Life Poetry with Shauna Clarke (Strangefroot) from 2000 until 2007. Came out with an EP at the end of May 2007 (Just A Taste Of). I went on 'An Imperfect Tour Around America' Sept. 17th to Nov. 10th of 2007. Came out with a full cd record in 2008 (Her Panties). Now I've moved to Long Island to become a welder. I miss my friends when they are not near.

I ache and I'm smiling. I'm working in a Welding shop and finding out if this is the life for me. If you saw me this weekend , you would have heard me bemoaning the fact that the place I wanted to work said 'no, thank you for your interest'. I was firmly resolved that I would be going in there every chance I got to practice and learn from my friend. Then, Sunday night, I got a call to say that if I wanted to start on Monday (7am-330). I said 'see you then.'
