I just got contacted by my mentor at the community college; looks like they are bringing me on for ANOTHER SEMESTER! YAY! Uhh, yeah...teaching is going. I mean, I love being a professor. I love talking about sociology, which is of course a field I definitely have a mad on for. I love my large class and all the mix of personalities in the class. I love how they make me laugh, and how I can make them laugh. It's good.
What is not good? Their grades. Kind of bad. No. Crappy is the word I am looking for. They had their first quiz and people did horrific. Yeah. Really bad. The midpoint was an 11 out of 20...

Finished the review of prevention projects, which they theorized would take about 1 hour each; it took about 20-30 minutes each. It's fifty bucks a peice, which means I just made $200! Mail out the stuff today, they get it Thursday, they mail out a check Friday. Happy days! I am glad I actually got it done. I got up early just to polish it off, and it was finished in a good amount of time.
