Insightful!

Sometimes, the more I am around people, the more I think we should listen to this cat. Did you ever see the movie "Idiocrasy"? It is a comedy where only the stupid people were reproducing like drunken bunnies and the smart people were reproducing at a much slower rate. The future turned out to be a very grim farce. It's a very funny movie but sometimes I wonder if it is not foreshadowing a bit.

I love and shiver at that movie at the same time. I think of the number of my intelligent friends, as well as myself, that are not breeding or are refusing to breed and I think, wow, that movie rings really true to a degree. . . . .scary.

Do you realize how many parents think that they are the "SMART" breeders? The ones who are certain that, due to their Masters degrees, or their membership in Mensa, or their unBELIEVable witiness, their children will "make a difference".
Yeah, right.
That's a conundrum there...If you think that you're smart enough to raise good, smart children, does that automatically mean you're probably not that smart, and mostly just full of shit, and your kids are gonna grow up spoiled and thinking they are smarter than everyone else, just like their parents do?
"smart" assholes with children...great.
