The Merry Wives of Windsor are still seeking an alto! We are an all female group who play folk and Irish music at Renaissance Faires and cultural festivals year round. We also play larger shows a few times a year, past venues have included the Grove of Anaheim and the El Rey in LA.

Many people close to my heart are living with Diabetes. In an effort to support them and their families, I will be cycling in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fund-raising event! Every mile I ride (and it's a lot of miles!) and every dollar I raise will go to help the more than 20 million Americans who suffer from diabetes.

I started classes again today (hence my being back online). While classes suck I am very excited to get this semester done and get my teaching cred! So close and yet so far! I am not looking forward to student teaching and doing faire at the same time. Can we say "Stress"?

Speaking of faire.... I have never been MORE excited about a faire season. I can't wait to see what the new ED brings! Also the Wives are going full speed ahead! We have a ton of new songs and are really taking our sound... read more 
Northern was a great faire. We had a lot of fun and made lots of new friends. I'm really going to miss going. I hope MWOW can go back next year. I'm even tempted to maybe make another trip up myself just for fun.... but we will see. I'm not sure it would be fun to just wander around without a gig.
