Cutie in the Sun



Hello
Well, I had to euthanize Cutie (15yrs) Friday. She had been "laying low" at the beginning of the week, off in her warm spots, now that its cold and with Joey coming downstairs more. But when I found her Wed. she was dehydrated & Not Right, so dashed her off to the Vet. Even after 2 solid days of treatment she was worse then when I brought her in and was in total kidney failure, which is a one way street. So she seemed to go right up until the end and then crashed quick! Better than lingering! That makes 3 this year; Lady in Feb., Charlie in July, & now Cutie in Nov. leaving only Millie, who I thought would be the first to go, having come back from the brink of kidney failure this summer, so her turn will come, it is a One way street! Thought I'd let you know. In solace, as it happens Cutie's sister Pufka just recently moved back home (to her birth place), so the house isn't as bereft as it might be!
