this friday my new live electronica band Sparktree is playing in berkeley as part of a free art and music show at the Downtown Restaurant and Bar on shattuck at allston. the restaurant opens at 5 and dinner does till 10 with the first dj (evolutionista - downtempo ambient) starting at 9, us at 10, and then djs lobi (drum n bass), the Flying Skulls (dubstep!) , and Mozaic (tech, electro, breakbeat, & & &) keeping it going till 130. ian ross is doing ... read more 
well, it turns out i won't be able to make it out (again!) to the playa this year. i have an art piece that i want to send out to everyone and see if it can make the journey in my stead. it's along the theme of Evolution and isn't too massive.
