Festival Belly Dance Costumes!
Need a Bellydance costume for the upcoming festivals! Contact me! I have consignment costumes or will custom create one just for you!Tedd Bear Ride!
We went on our first Teddy Bear Ride today! We started out with some friends and joined more friends on the way thru Denton to McKinney where we met up with over 1000 bikes and Teddy Bears! It was the 15th annual Teddy Bear Ride benefiting Collin County Children's Advocacy Center. We left McKinney and traveled to and down 75 (central expressway) to Plano, the Police blocked off traffic at all intersections (legal red light running woohoo) and the freeway so we could all travel together. On the freeway there were bikes as far as you could see in front of you and as far as you could see behind you, it was breath taking. When we arrived at the Center you should have seen bikers all in leather walking with their teddy bears in their arms to donate to the kids! Heart warming! When your on the road this year watch out for us, be safe, they will need more teddy bears next year and I for one hope to be there! Ride safe, Terri1941 Stearman airplane!!!!!!!!!!!1
I went up in a 1941 Stearman aircraft Sunday!!! Oh my God! It was fantastic!!!! Open air, strapped in and the wind in your face, what a rush! If you ever get the opportunity to fly like this don't pass it up. I started to chicken out, I have flown in an open cockpit plane once before and it scared me to death, but I kept telling myself it's a once in a liftime chance! So up-up-and away, At first Jim was so nice just flying around peacefully until he saw me relax then woosh over we went into a "snap roll" I would have peed my pants but it was so quick I did not have time! LOL. Then I could not stop smiling -what a rush-! We were truly blessed to have our #1 grandson with us so he was able to take his first airplane ride in a remarkable piece of history!!!! Sign me up, I will be there again next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a blessing to have such a great friend who shares his love of flying with those around him!Pampered Chef

Love to all! Terri/TyraThe mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee (Thanks Regor)
: When things in your life seem almost too much to handle;when 24 hours in a day are not enough;
remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee...
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began,
he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.
He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with an unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and
poured the entire contents into the jar,
effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things
--your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---
and if everything else was lost and only they remained;
your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter;
like your job, your house and your car.
The sand is everything else---the small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued,
"there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your spouse out to dinner.
Play another 18.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first
--the things that really matter--
Set your priorities.
"The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled.
"I'm glad you asked."
"It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem;
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."
Please share this with someone you care about.
i just did.
:-)
