I imagine you and I both looked a bit surly right after being born, but then I before this grand event I've only been present at the birth of foals, who just kind of flop out and then lie around looking helpless. Oh, and chicks of course. Can't say I've noticed them having a wide range of facial expressions either.

I know.... it's almost too much.... I go and peek at them every hour or so because they need their sleep, but I'm still a bit dazed by the whole birth thing and all... I feel like I should be smoking a cigar.... I think I've found homes for 3 of them already, which is seriously good going in this day and age. I called a neighbour about a good vet for having mama thingybobbed, and she told me to buy a bottle of ether... although five minutes later she said she was going to come by and look at the lil wibby babbies.... ah, these rural folks. Gotta keep them away from Oprah/Baileys/Ether.

hope the delivery was easy - I mujst say it probably was, considering how contented mama looks in other pics any ideas about the deadbeattomcat-dad ??? |
