I'm originally from The Dominican Republic...grew up in NYC...started dancing at Serena's Studios about 4 years ago...Moved to Hawaii in 2004 where I intensified my knowledge in Middle Eastern dance and performed for the first time...while in Hawaii I studied exclusive under the mentorship of Shamira Nawal; founder of Amara Kismet Near & Middle Eastern Dance Ensemble. I let originality define my style…but if I had to describe it I’ll say my style leans more towards American Cabaret/Latin Fusion. Do know that I don’t want to be a clone…I just let my body express the music in its own comfortable way…I am simply me :)
