ABOUT BOZENKA: Meaning “touched by God,” the name Bozenka suits this performer, whose gift for the art of bellydancing transcends her Cuban-Czech heritage, as she enthralls audiences and inspires performers throughout the world. As a resident of Miami, Bozenka started her training at The Mid Eastern Dance Exchange under the leadership of Tamalyn Dallal. Bozenka currently tours with the Bellydance Superstars and holds the titles Miss America of the Bellydance 2000 and the 2006 golden crown from the “Ahlan Wa Sahlan” dance festival in Cairo, Egypt. She has also choreographed for Latin pop star Shakira, performed with “Alabina” during their concert tour in Miami Beach, and entertained many celebrities including Sean Connery, Donald Trump, Hugh Hefner, Madonna, and Enrique Iglesias.

Besides being an accomplished performer, Bozenka is one of the most sought after instructors in the Oriental dance form. Her special teaching technique and her wonderful spirit make her workshops a fulfilling and motivating experience for all who attend. Bozenka is a well-rounded artist and a true bellydance Superstar!

master instructor and choreographer. Hadia has performed and
instructed throughout the world and has an innate ability to weave
the subtle nuances and textures of oriental music into movement. Her
ingenious teaching skills draw upon her multi-faceted 35-year career
as an artist and her 15 years as a registered practitioner and
instructor of message/manual therapy. She skillfully applies her
extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to create thorough,
clear and disciplined breakdowns of all techniques. Her understanding
of the peoples and cultures of the Middle East is reflected in her
attentive application to oriental rhythms and encouragement of
artistic expression. She has a fullness and depth to her teaching
that embodies her deep love and respect for our art form as it

Aubre of LA in workshop/show...this month! (events » arts) Friday, November 20, 2009 - 4:00 PM Hi all, just wanted to send out a reminder that the workshop and show with Aubre Hill of LA is this month!

Aubre has been studying dance since she was a child with a background including ballet, jazz, hiphop, tap, and her main passion, Middle Eastern bellydance. Studying with such esteemed talents as Suhaila Salimpour, Samara, Jamila Salimpour, Tamra-henna, Zahra Zuhair, Sahira (WA), Sahra Saeeda, and many others, Aubre has developed her own beautiful and elegant style. She has shared stages with Cirque du Soleil and the Blue Man Group. Aubre performed with the Bellydance Superstars as well as served as Assistant Director while touring extensively through Europe and North America and can be seen on the "Bellydance Superstars: Live at the Folies Bergere" dvd. Aubre is also the winner of the IBDC Professional competition and Fusion division for 2007. She is now the Artistic Director of the Lumina Bellydance Company.

Aubre's teaching style is known for its strong emphasis on technique, clear explanations, and a warm nurturing approach. She blends dance movement, pilates, and yoga for a full body workout specifically designed for bellydancers. Armed with exquisite technique and a pure soul, her dancing mesmerizes audiences everywhere.
