My training in the aerial arts began at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts in 1997. In 2000 I began to incorporate modern dance into my training and the desire to bring my hobby to the public on a professional level. I produced and performed puppetry and performance art showcases in Chicago from 2000 to 2004, forming the variety troupe 'The Tingle-Tangle Menagerie' featuring my first solo trapeze act. I now train and perform in New Orleans, with recent highlights including shows with the
Tigerlillies, the Ann Burr Dance Company, a run with Circus Pages, and spots in venues such as the Contemporary Arts Center, the New Orleans Convention Center, the Beau Rivage Casino, the State Palace Theater, Casino Magic and the Orpheus Marti Gras Ball, among many others. Today I am a member of Fleur de Tease Burlesque and the Whirly Bones Variety Collective which performs and provides community education in the New Orleans area. I am director of Aurora Aerial Productions which tours the gulf coast and beyond featuring doubles and singles acts on trapeze, aerial hoop, and silks. I also perform as a stilt walker, hula hooper, burlesque dancer and maker of silly skits which involve lots of props and frequently cake. In short, I'm an addict for the stage and I'm absolutely passionate about everything circus.
