OK, is it sad of me to admit my geeky side or even sadder of me to admit that I now lust after David Austin Green? Well, let me start from the beginning while trying to keep from sinning :) I recently started watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I initially refused to watch it because I assumed the TV show would suck and because T3 looked like a vanity project for the then-fading Schwartzendictator. (Side Note: I still refuse to watch T3 as it lacks 2 core T-elements: James Cameron and Linda Hamilton.) However, when boredom and snow forced me to my computer/TV screen this March, I started watching the show and was mesmerized. Why? I'll tell you why :)

#1) The show's kickass.
#2) I love that Summer Glau has basically reprised her role from Serenity
#3) While Lena H might not possess the buff body or butch personnae of Linda Hamilton, she still brings that fierce mother-protector personae to Sarah Connor
#4) The show's dialogue, directing, and action are amazing. I'm shocked at how well the writers/producers/directors develop the T-Legacy without James Cameron

However, returning to what I mentioned at the beginning of my post, I must explicate my newfound lust for David Austin Green (or more specifically, his abs :). All I knew about DAG comes from BH 90210, his rap career in 2001and the meaning of his initials when placed together - 'dag, man . . .' However, despite his utter suckiness in acting and rapping as well as his utter geekiness in acting and trying to rap- in the show the boy has it goin' on. Seriously, he is FIIIINE! To put it another way, he's hot :) He is surprisingly good at bringing the fury and since the show's writers made the Sarah Connor character softer, he embodies the hardness of the original T2 SC. Considering his inability to accurately portray the wannabe-suburban-boy rapper on 90210 (a figure he was in reality), I am shocked at his ability to play such an intense, emotion-filled character. Plus, considering his skinniness back then, I'm impressed that he, like Patrick Dempsey, physically filled out. Seriously, that boy is totally foiiine with abs to match. One of the best parts of the show included his naked shower scene ;)

I hope the writers keep up the great storylines, the directors maintain the male eye candy, and the show is renewed for next year. Even though the season's already over, it's still on my permanent watch list :)
