Aquamarine, Aqua Terra Jasper and a Beautiful Lampwork Glass Focal
The Lampwork glass oblong focal bead, created by artist Brynn Foss, sets the stage for the coordinating colors in the rest of the necklace. The photos don't show how well they match, but Aqua is evident in both the focal bead and the rest of the elements of this necklace. 20ga Sterling Silver wire was used to extend the focal bead below the rest of the necklace. There are several Bali granulated spacer beads throughout and they surround both the focal bead as well as the pattern consisting of 6mm round Aquamarine beads, Aqua Terra Jasper in both coin and rectangle shapes and Chilean off-center drilled Cats Eye beads. The clasp is a wired sterling silver "S" hook. The earrings consist of the same elements as the necklace and drop from French ear wires.
The length of this unique necklace is 21". The focal bead drops about 1" from the necklace as do the earrings from the ear wires.
I love to design something a little bit different and I hope I hit the mark with this one. The colors are much more muted (especially the brown/olive green) than displays in the photos. It's a versatile blend of colors and would complement many wardrobe items.
