Technological development is outpacing our ability to keep up with it. However, as our society is structured, it will not satisfy us or meet all of our needs. It is time that we recognize that we must ensure that the basic needs of everyone are met without regard to their "value" to society. It is time that we get off the wheel of the illusion that we must enslave ourselves to work for the newest advertised item, the biggest house, the fastest car, etc., and give some of our time to others in order to both ensure that their needs are met, and that they are encouraged to grow into their own spiritual power.
